Summary of Opportunity:
The Vice President, JEDI is a direct report of and will collaborate with the Chief People & Culture Officer in shaping the Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) strategy for the National Office of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA) and the network of 230+ affiliated Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies. The Vice President will serve as a subject matter expert on justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives to guide the Federation’s JEDI commitment across plans and actions including but not limited to community of practice building, engagement, strategy implementation, and learning and development curriculum, to support awareness and sustainability of JEDI practices and principles. This position will both lead and partner with all BBBSA departments to further operationalize JEDI within the national office and network. The VP will lead development of a formal strategy in alignment with the BBBSA strategic plan and oversee the creation of related toolkits, guidebooks, and other materials. A proven collaborator, this role will work with diverse stakeholders to develop best practices in JEDI that can be used to scale immersion of our commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion across the Federation.

Education & Related Work Experience
Education Level: Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience equivalency.
Years and Type of Related Work Experience: A minimum of 7 years of proven, progressive experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion including leadership in building, operationalizing and working collaboratively to advance an integrated DEI strategy. Experience within a similar, federated or affiliate network preferred, but not required.
