Big Brothers Big Sisters of America is searching for a Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This is a full time position, candidates must be able to work in our office in Tampa, FL.
The Staff Accountant is responsible for managing Accounts Payable, maintain and control the General Ledger accounts and business transactions of the organization, and applying the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) that includes analytical work and a thorough review of financial records.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Education: Bachelor's Degree required, focus in Accounting preferred.
Related Work Experience: 3-5 years' experience with degree in accounting or related subject or 5+ years' experience required with degree not related to accounting. Non-profit accounting experience preferred.
