Big Brothers Big Sisters of America is hiring a national Marketing & Resource Development Manager to support philanthropy operations, manage projects, create, edit, and revise presentations, in addition to maintaining calendars and schedules and general administrative support for the senior leaders of the Marketing and Resource Development Departments. The Manager should have extensive experience in philanthropy operations, administrative support, marketing and sales enablement, and project management, preferably with experience supporting multiple senior leaders. The Manager performs a variety of tasks including scheduling, communication and coordination of teams, meetings and activities. Skills and experience leading the process to modify, edit, and prospect research to create visually appealing and compelling presentations in support of external pitches. This position will report to the Chief Development Officer (CDO) with a dotted line report to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. This position is a remote work environment.

The Marketing & Resource Development Manager will be an experienced administrative and operations manager with strong project management skills, responsible for planning and overseeing the day-to-day support of two critical teams, Development & Marketing. The Manager will have exceptional business correspondence and multi-tasking skills, experience in presentation development following brand guidelines, experience with excel and standard mail merge and other similar office procedures. Core understanding of donor development and prospecting or marketing and constituent engagement a plus.
The Manager will have strong administrative and interpersonal skills to plan and engage resources, monitor the progress of multiple assignments, communications, and schedules; and keep stakeholders informed throughout the scope of a project. A results-oriented role, the Manager will serve as the administrative contact for several senior leaders, collaborate with other executive assistants internally and externally, and assist with a variety of interdepartmental projects. The Marketing & Resource Development Manager is a candidate that possesses strong organizational attributes, has a passion about the potential of young people, and can execute with a hands-on, collaborative style. The Marketing & Resource Development Manager will have experience working closely with senior leadership, staff, and other constituents. The Marketing & Resource Development Manager will bring experience working within a fast-paced, non-profit environment. Federated and/or multi-affiliate model knowledge and experience is preferred. A deeply skilled and experienced communicator, the Marketing & Resource Development Manager will be a persuasive speaker, writer, and skilled administrative professional with confidence, knowledge, and the accountability to relay complex and confidential information in written and presentation formats. The Marketing & Resource Development Manager is required to have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent certificate with a minimum of 5 years of marketing, development, philanthropy operations or project management and/or administrative support experience. Salesforce/Marketing Cloud experience is a preferred skill set, but not required. High competency in Office 365 required.
