Position Purpose

The Senior Specialist of Creative Services designs and supports production of creative materials that enhance brand awareness and furthers the mission of BBBSA. Reporting to the Director of Creative and Content, this individual helps ensure a consistent and streamlined approach to brand resources across the entire network by developing and maintaining a comprehensive library of templates, providing training, and empowering stakeholders to effectively use the Big Brothers Big Sisters brand.

Location: Continental United States (100% remote)

FLSA Status: Full Time, Exempt

Travel: Approximately 10-15%

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain national and local brand standards: In consult with the Director of Creative and Content and/or the Chief Marketing Officer, ensure brand consistency across all creative materials by developing and maintaining scalable toolkits and templates for local agencies and national staff.
  • Serve as a brand resource: Support local agencies and internal teams by responding to brand inquiries, assisting with creative requests, and helping ensure compliance and consistency across our nationwide network.
  • Develop creative assets: Design and produce creative projects from concept to completion, working cross-functionally on various print and digital materials such as presentation decks, flyers, social media content, event creative, fundraising collateral, out-of-home advertising, and more.
  • Support national event creative: Collaborate with the Director of Creative and Content and national events team to produce all necessary creative assets for annual conferences and galas, including signage, presentations, promotional items, and other experiential design elements.
  • Coordinate project workflow: Use the project management tool, Asana, to track assigned creative tasks, communicate progress with stakeholders, and ensure deliverables meet brand and quality standards.
  • Stay current on trends: Keep up to date with emerging technologies, design trends, and creative strategies to ensure our creative is modern, compelling, and effectively speaks to our target audiences.
  • Maintain digital assets: Organize and update BBBSA’s creative files within platforms like Brandfolder and Canva to ensure accessibility and consistency across the network.
  • Uphold brand commitment to core values: Ensure all creative work reflects BBBSA’s commitment to Access, Belonging, and Opportunity.
  • Support additional creative initiatives as needed: As part of a small and collaborative team, maintain flexibility to assist with projects and priorities as they arise.

Education & Related Work Experience

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.

Years of Related Work Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience.

Skills and Knowledge: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; service-oriented mindset; Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while producing high-quality, detail-oriented work; Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment on deadline; Experience producing creative for omni-channel campaigns; Familiarity with current design and media trends; Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and related design tools; Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana.
