Summary of Opportunity:
The Director, Executive Communications is a member of the Communications Department at Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA). This role reports directly to the Chief Communications Officer and is responsible for planning, developing, and overseeing effective internal and external messaging and communication strategies for the CEO and other key executives that support the mission and vision of BBBSA.
The Director, Executive Communications will develop, execute, and update CEO executive engagement plans to include employee engagement, thought leadership and external opportunities. They will also partner with subject matter experts to develop narratives and key messages, collaborate with peers to create, and execute program milestone communications plans and support other projects as needed.
Location: Full-time Remote anywhere in the U.S.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Education & Related Work Experience
Education Level: Bachelor’s degree OR related experience equivalency.
Years of Related Work Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in executive level writing.
